If you need to cancel your DVC resale listing, the process is simple. Whether you’ve changed your mind about selling or completed a sale elsewhere, we make it easy to update your listing status.
In either case, go to your View Details page and click “Deactivate Listing.” If you’re no longer interested in selling, this keeps your information saved in case you change your mind later — it’s just one click to reactivate. If you’ve sold your membership through another broker, to a family member, or in a private sale, deactivating also gives you the option to let us know why. This helps us keep your records up to date and prevents any unnecessary follow-up.
There are no fees or penalties for deactivating or canceling a listing, and you can take action at any time — even if your listing is live or in negotiations. If you’d prefer, you can also email or call us, and we’ll take care of it manually. If you had any pending offers, we’ll notify those buyers professionally.
You’re always welcome to list with us again in the future. Many sellers pause their plans and return later — sometimes months or even years down the road. If you’ve listed with us before, your details will still be saved, making reactivation quick and easy.
